As 2024 comes to a close we want to say thank you to all of our users and customers, who have helped to make QuickTrials the leading enterprise SaaS solution for agronomic field trials. Your trust in our work and the feedback you provide, enable us to continually improve QuickTrials and add many exciting features.
Below is a list of the features we’ve added this year which are generally included in your subscription for free! 🌟
- Mobile App notifications whenever a field staff is assigned to a trial or has a scheduled visit coming up
- New treatments feature for trials that involve the application of treatments
- Mobile App performance improvements (in some cases 10x faster!)
- Draggable traits to change the desired order in the setup wizard
- Improvements to traits setup wizard such as allowing grouping traits by scheduled visits or category and filtering capabilities
- Individual visit analysis, for when you want a deeper dive into the data collected during specific site visits
- Improvements to site shapes and locations, as well as more units that can be chosen for the displayed area of map shapes.
- Additional trial states to better define the progress of a trial
- Trial state filters to help streamline processes when working with thousands of trials
- Scheduled visit improvements. A traits scheduled visit is now editable in the trial wizard.
- Additional languages. QuickTrials now supports 13 languages
- Map of all site shapes on a single overview screen to visualise how sites are distributed
- Validation Mix/Max values in the trait list to make it easier to visually check the acceptable ranges for all traits
- User export enhancements to better support workflows involving large lists of users across different projects, departments or countries
- Enhanced filters on dimension screens for more precise and relevant data retrieval
- Predefined order of trait choices
- Bulk add of matching traits with a single click to speed up trial creation
- Group managers role has been added to streamline working with CRO’s
- Observation playback enhancements, showing where each measurement was recorded and the order it was taken in
- ANOVA statistics for multi-factor trials and for non-RCBD trials
- New tutorials for the WebApp and Mobile Apps to make it easier for new users to get up to speed on the key concepts and features
- Read-only admin role and restricted manager role for greater control of access rights
- Full screen mode in the overview grid so users can view more data easily on smaller screens
- Additional file formats supported for observations, which now includes PDF, TXT, CSV, XLS, XLSX, DOC, DOCX.
- Dimension search and bulk delete to save time when making many changes
- Crop assignment to dimensions
- Improved ordering of trial test subjects
- Video trait types for capturing videos during assessments
- Sign-in with Microsoft, when using Single Sign On (SSO)
- Many user interface enhancements and performance improvements to improve the look and feel of the application
